SUBSTANCE: in a clock casing, having a top cover with a glass and a back cover, at least one cut is made on the surface of the casing and decorative insert is detachably installed in said cut. The decorative insert can be installed in the cut on the casing by "dovetail" mounting with possibility of fixing the insert in the cut of the top and back covers.

EFFECT: improved originality and outward appeal of clocks, faster altering of the outward appearance of the clock casing, easier and lower cost of making original, unique or personalised clocks using a standard casing.
