FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: holding unit has a base plate which rests on the adapter plate of the fuel assembly and has openings which are aligned relative guide bushings for control rods. A hollow casing extends through a central opening and below the central opening in the base plate for interfacing with the bushing for the measurement/inspection apparatus of the fuel assembly. The casing extends over the base plate and through the upper plate of the reactor core and over the upper plate of the reactor core. A retaining bar is mounted with possibility of moving on the casing and be held below the top part of the casing. A spring is placed around the casing and is held between the retaining bar and the base plate.

EFFECT: holding system for a fuel assembly mounted on a board, in which is formed a confined channel for both inserting and removing fixed intra-reactor detector measurement/inspection apparatus mounted on the cover of the housing of the reactor core, provides a directed path for the fixed intra-reactor detector during insertion and protects the casing of the measurement/inspection apparatus from cross-flow of the coolant.
