FIELD: atomic physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear reactor fuel assemblies. A fuel assembly has a plurality of sets of multi-plate tension clips extending from the head. Each set of springs consists of a plurality of spring plates to provide a wide spring deviation operating range. Each spring plate has a section of a straight flat base, behind which there is a straight, tapering beam with a secondary spring plate, having a curvature at its peripheral end.
EFFECT: maintaining elasticity of the spring assembly during extended fuel cycles and high cracking resistance due to mechanical corrosion.
