FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dairy cattle husbandry. The proposed milking unit comprises a milking machine and a vacuum unit with an electric motor 4 and kinematically connected with it, for example by V-belt drive, vacuum pump 5 fixed to the frame 6 parallel to each other. The electric motor 4 and the vacuum pump 5 are mounted in the housing 10 provided with holes for inlet and outlet of cooling air flow. The electric motor 4 is equipped with a casing guiding air 12 which is adjacent to the wall of the housing 10 and covering the holes for air inlet to the electric motor 4, but leaving area of the electric motor impeller open. The holes for air outlet from the housing 10 are located on the side wall from the side of the pump 5. The high-speed commutator motor is used as an electric motor 4.
EFFECT: invention provides improved performance of the unit, prevents entering the moisture into the housing of the vacuum unit, simplifying the design, efficient cooling of the pump.
