FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to insecticide compositions and can be used for flying insect control in closed rooms. The insecticide composition contains prallethrin and transfluthrin as active substances, piperonyl butoxide as a synergist and a hydrocarbon solvent. The composition is obtained by preparing two homogeneous mixtures: prallethrin is added to 95% of the total amount of the hydrocarbon solvent, followed by addition of transfluthrin. Piperonyl butoxide is then mixed with the remaining amount of hydrocarbon solvent. The second mixture is added the first and mixed until complete dissolution of all components of the composition, taken in the following ratio, wt %: prallethrin - 0.05-5; transfluthrin - 0.05-5; piperonyl butoxide - 0.1-5; hydrocarbon solvent - the balance.
EFFECT: invention increases effectiveness of the composition.
