SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to medium for artificial insemination of birds. Composition of medium for bird sperm dilution contains dissolved in distilled water sodium glutamate, D-glucose, fructose, with the following ratio: sodium glutamate - 2.6-3.0 g, D-glucose - 0.8-1.0 g, fructose - 0.8-1.0 g, distilled water - 100 ml.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention will make it possible to preserve for a long time biological usefulness of bird sperm cells and their high fertilising ability at temperature +2…+4°C for 24-28 hours.
