SUBSTANCE: medium for diluting poultry sperm is made by dissolving dry ingredients taken at the following ratio (g): sucrose - 4.0-5.0, glucose - 0.3-0.5, sodium acetate - 1.1-1.6, acid sodium carbonate - 0.1-0.2, oxalic acid - 0.02-0.04, in 100 ml of bidistilled water; wherein the medium provides the storage time of diluted sperm, while preserving the fertilizing ability, for chickens for 24 hours, Guinea fowl and turkeys - 7 hours, ducks - 4 hours, geese - 3 hours.
EFFECT: proposed medium is effective when diluting sperm for artificial insemination of chickens, turkeys, Guinea fowl, geese, ducks; the medium in dry form can be stored without air access up to two months without changing the original properties.
