FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a composition of structural material which contains a cross-linked starch derivative with amylopectin content higher than 85%, wherein 5% of the aqueous Brookfield viscosity of the pure starch derivative is 1000-10000 mPa.s at 100 rpm and 20°C, preferably 2000-7000 mPa.s. Said structural material can be used in cement and/or dispersion-modified structural adhesives, preferably in an adhesive for gluing tiles, particularly for ceramic facing or in heat-insulation composite systems. The invention is developed in subclaims.
EFFECT: improved processing properties of hydraulically hardening mortars, including cement mortars.
