SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dispersion paints for internal and external works, as well as to a dispersion paint composite thickener containing starch(es) or derivative thereof together with at least one high-viscosity cellulose, where the cellulose has viscosity higher than 50000 mPa·s measured using a Brookfield rotational viscosimetre in form of a 2% turgid aqueous solution at 5 rpm and 25°C. The invention also relates to a method of preparing paint systems based on a dispersion binder in which the said composite thickener is added to the paint system.

EFFECT: paints have high thickening capacity, wear and wash resistance and manufacturability.
