FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method for limiting water influx in a well involves pumping to a formation of a solution of a water-soluble polymer and dispersion of gel particles restrictedly swelling in water so that an insulating screen is formed. As a water soluble polymer, mixture of polyacrylamide DP9-8177 and reagent VPRG is used, and as gel particles restrictedly swelling in water, V 50 E polymer acrylamide is used at the following ratio, wt %: polyacrylamide DP9-8177 0.1-0.5; reagent VPRG 5-10; V 50 E acrylamide polymer 0.5-2; water is the rest, and for attachment of the insulating screen, a solution containing salts of polyvalent metals are pumped: aluminium oxychloride or calcium chloride, or mineralised formation Devonian water with density of 1180-1200 kg/m3.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing restriction efficiency of water influx in fractured carbonate manifolds and enlarging the duration of the effect of repair works.
