FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: proposed furnace comprises rotary drive and rotary drum mounted horizontally on the plate rigidly secured to the bed by elastic elements. Said drum is equipped with vibration activator and helical spring with pitch variator. In compliance with one version, said drum features U-like, round, polygonal shape. In compliance with another version, said drum is composed by tree and more equal-width strips coiled in vertical plane and flexed in helical lines in transverse direction along incisions. Said strips have skewed walls arranged at an angle to each other on both sides to make broken helical constant-pitch lines and surfaces along drum perimetre.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified operation, expanded process performances.
