FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: on a target imitator an imitator of a light source of a controlled projectile is installed, and on a sight - imitators of firing, starting, capturing and dynamics of projectile flight towards the target. The imitator of the light source of the controlled projectile is started. It is captured by means of a control system. A trainee matches the sighting line with the sighting point on the target imitator and measures distance to it. The measured value is recalculated into the "flight" time of the projectile. The firing and projectile start are imitated. The sighting line is retained on the sighting point for the time of projectile flight towards the target. At the same time dynamics of its flight is imitated in the field of vision. The deviations of the sighting line from the imitator of the light source are continuously measured by means of a coordinator and registered. Measured deviations are compared with dimensions of the target imitator. If deviations at the moment of projectile flight by the target imitator exceed its contour, it is assessed as a miss.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of assessing projectile hitting a target.
