FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: guided projectile light source simulator is placed on target simulator while guided projectile model is arranged on sight, simulators of shot, lock-in and dynamics of projectile part to target. Guided projectile light source simulator is switched on to be clocked-in by control system. Operator aligns aiming line with aiming mark on target simulator to measure range thereto and to define projectile flight time. Projectile start is simulated to keep aiming line at aiming mark and simulate projectile flight dynamics in sight field of vision. Departure of said line from said mark is continuously measured and registered. Measured deviations are compared to target simulator sizes. Deviations exceeding said sizes are considered misses. Those in flight are considered loss of control while weapons control algorithm failure is considered the operator fault.
EFFECT: higher training efficiency, improved performances.
