FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: busbar (10) has an input (11) and at least two taps (12a, 12b, 12c), in each tap (12a, 12b, 12c) there is a device (16a, 16b, 16c) for tap protection, and at the input (11) there is a device (13) of input protection, and in case of a short circuit on one of the taps (for instance, 12a) the device of tap protection (for instance, 16a) corresponding to this tap (for instance, 12a) sends to the device (13) of input protection a signal of blocking, which delays or blocks actuation of a power switch (15) placed in the input (11). In order to provide the method, in which comparably low costs are required for installation, it is proposed that devices (16a, 16b, 16c) of tap protection along a data transfer bus (19) periodically send communication telegrams (Ta, Tb, Tc) to the device (13) of input protection, and the device (13) of input protection by means of verification logic verifies reception of communication telegrams (Ta, Tb, Tc), and, if necessary, prevents realisation of the blocking signal (B).
EFFECT: higher reliability and reduced prime cost of protection.
