SUBSTANCE: cutting device for a processing machine comprises a flexible cutting unit including a segment with a cutting element and another cutting element integrated with the cutting element of the flexible cutting unit segment. The flexible cutting unit has a varying geometrical pattern of the cutting-edge angles along its cutting direction. The cutting element has a back angle made different from the back angle of the other cutting element, or the cutting element has a face angle made different from the face angle of the other cutting element. The processing system includes at least one processing machine and a cutting device.
EFFECT: increased productivity of cutting materials of various types.
