SUBSTANCE: power conversion device comprises a controller (6) of a converter-inverter for control of a converter (1) and an inverter (3). The power conversion device is additionally equipped with a DC capacitor (4) connected between the converter (1) and the inverter (3), and a detector (5) of DC capacitor voltage for detection of DC capacitor voltage Efc between connecting leads of the DC capacitor (4). The controller (6) of the converter-inverter provides for alternating control of the voltage Efc of the DC capacitor of the converter (1) on the basis of the frequency of an AC motor (2), voltage Efc of the DC capacitor and pulse mode. In the pre-determined range of the motor frequency the controller (6) of the converter-inverter fixes the coefficient of the WPM inverter (3), equal to the value m0.
EFFECT: control of an inverter, where a value m0 is designed to reduce harmonic of predetermined order available in output voltage of an inverter.
