FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to devices converting alternating current to alternating current. Power conversion device comprises transformers with primary windings connected to input terminals, and secondary windings, including plurality of single-phase open windings, which are insulated from each other; plurality of converter cells connected to secondary windings of transformers; and control circuit switching on/off switching elements, wherein inputs of converter cells, made with intermediate DC links are mutually connected in parallel manner with appropriate single-phase open windings, and outputs are mutually connected in series with output terminals of each phase.
EFFECT: technical result consists in three and more conversion levels of electric energy by power, voltage and frequency.
