FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to bee keeping. The proposed wax melter comprises a metal case 1 for honeycomb frames coated with a black dye for absorption of solar radiation and a vacuumised multiple glass pane 2 for heat insulation, two halves of parabolic cylindrical reflectors 3-6, arranged symmetrically relative to the vertical plane, to increase area of solar radiation reflection and to increase coefficient of its usage. Focal planes f1 and f2, F1 and F2 of parabolic cylindrical reflectors 3-6 are matched with planes of the solar wax melter.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased concentration of solar radiation at a bottom and side surfaces of a wax melter.
