SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of water intakes protection against fish ingress. The method provides for fencing of a water intake window by two air and bubble curtains. To create curtains, perforated pipelines and compressors are provided. In the area of the air and bubble curtains with the help of radiators hydroacoustic signals are continuously generated. Also two artificial channels are provided, along which fish that penetrated through air and bubble curtains is removed into the open part of the water reservoir. In the area of the water intake window signals are generated by a radiator as spreading from air.
EFFECT: invention provides for efficient protection of water intake from fish ingress.
