FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to jar mills. Proposed method comprises body, runner bowl with runner ways, runners arranged to be disengaged, axial and radial bearings for runner bowl, and, at least, two runner bowl rotary drives. Note here that said drives may be switched off in running mill, that is, the disengaged runner drive may be switched off to minimise resultant radial force. Proposed method of running said mill consists in that with one runner disengaged that drive is switched off which allows minimum resultant radial force.
EFFECT: higher reliability, longer life.
