SUBSTANCE: invention relates to isoxazole-pyridine derivatives of formula 
, where X; R1; R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are as described in claim 1 of the invention and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The invention also relates to a medicinal agent for treating diseases associated with the binding site of the GABA A α5 receptor based on compounds of formula I and use of said compounds in preparing a medicinal agent.
EFFECT: novel compounds are active towards the binding site of said receptor and are useful in treating cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's disease.
