SUBSTANCE: set of a cylinder lock with a key comprises a cylinder (1), installed as capable of rotation in a cavity of a cylindrical body (4), besides, the cylinder includes radial slots (11), arranged in series, besides, each radial slot (11) comprises two tumblers (2), spring-loaded in one and the same direction and comprising side extensions (20) for engagement with the supporting spring, besides, side extensions (20) are aligned oppositely to each other, besides, in certain slots (11) the tumblers (2) are spring-loaded in one direction, and in other slots (11) the tumblers (2) are spring-loaded in a different direction, besides, tumblers contain control ledges (21), protruding into a channel (10) for a key and engaging with appropriate control trajectories (310, 320, 330, 340) by means of their control edges (210), besides, control trajectories (310, 320, 330, 340) are formed along the longitudinal axis of the key (3) on its wide surfaces, besides, the specified set of the cylinder lock with the key, at the same time the tumblers (2), arranged in series in odd slots (11), are spring-loaded in one direction, and the tumblers (2) arranged in series in even slots (11) are spring-loaded in the opposite direction, besides, their control ledges (21) protrude into the channel (10) for a key in the direction perpendicular to sliding movement of the tumblers (2), so that control ledges (21) are arranged in each slot (11) substantially next to each other, and their side control edges (210), adjoining the side ledges (20), interact with control trajectories (310, 320, 330, 340), formed on adjacent side walls of control grooves (31, 32; 33, 34), formed on each wide surface of the key (3).

EFFECT: creation of a narrower channel for a key, which limits space available for insertion of tools used by unauthorised persons to open or remove a lock, provision of even distribution of blocking forces along the entire length of a cylinder and bodies.
