SUBSTANCE: double-rod key composed of a rod on each side of which there are beards on which are made code cuts and teeth of certain sizes for interaction with plate-shaped toggle switches, code cuts and the teeth of one bit differ in mirror symmetry from the code cuts and the teeth of the second barb, each barb is provided with at least one driving tooth which are provided for interacting with the bolt rod of the lock switch directly, or through any other, at least one movable element, the key channel and the double-wrench being configured to insert the latter into the lock switch in any position, and the driving teeth on both barbs are offset relative to one another in the axial direction, opposite to the leading tooth of one bit, a slot of a certain depth is mirror-symmetrically on the other beard.

EFFECT: double-wrench is used in a tumbler lock with a locking lath and with plate tumblers, on which zones with specific slots are made for interaction with a locking post located on the locking rail, and on the rail are located along the central line of the latter pushing the rake protrusions to interact with the leading teeth of the key, the locking bar has at least two pushing rake protrusions displaced relative to its central line both on one and both sides.
