FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: hollow shaft of the gas turbine engine includes a cylindrical wall and an attachment part to the rotor disc of the gas turbine engine on one of its ends. On some part of the inner surface of the cylindrical wall, which is located close to the above end, there fixed is laminated material for vibration dampening. Laminated material includes at least one layer of viscoelastic material in contact with the above part of surface, and one opposite layer from rigid material, which contains side continuation. Side continuation forms a part of mechanical attachment to the shaft, is borne against the attachment part of the shaft to the rotor disc and retains a viscoelastic layer so that it is borne against the above part of the inner surface. The other invention of the group refers to a gas turbine engine containing the above hollow shaft.
EFFECT: inventions allow providing vibration dampening of the gas turbine engine shaft.
