FIELD: blasting.

SUBSTANCE: method for contactless exploding of a charge is based on detection of a target by means of space probing with pulse light radiation of two and more radiators and registration of the reflected radiation by two and more receivers. The radiator and the receiver form a pair, besides, each receiver may receive a reflected signal only from its "own" radiator. The radiator-receiver pairs are symmetrically arranged relative to the longitudinal axis of the ammunition and are aligned in direction of motion at the angle different from zero to the longitudinal axis of ammunition. Target identification is carried out according to the specified series of radiated reflected pulses registered for the established time interval by one and the same receiver. On the basis of the measured value of time interval between the moments of target identification at the specified distances from ammunition that differ from each other, the speed of ammunition approaching the target is assessed, and then the time delay for charge exploding is formed, depending on the ammunition speed.

EFFECT: makes it possible to provide for charge exploding at optimal distance from a target, regardless of ammunition speed, to increase resistance of ammunition to noise effect.
