FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: autoguide optical-mechanical system has optical fibre which connects an input system and the optical system of a spectrograph and a detector of the shift of the image of the centre of the star from the input end of the optical fibre. The input of the optical fibre lies at the centre of a circular plane-parallel optical plate perpendicular to its plane. The plate is mounted in a precision rim with two-coordinate movement, which is provided with two stepper actuators which move the rim in two mutually orthogonal directions and two recoil springs. The detector of the shift of the centre of the image of the star lies behind the optical plate and is in form of a CCD camera whose focus lies on the front plane of the plane-parallel plate, which coincides with the plane of the input end of the optical fibre.

EFFECT: simple autoguide optical-mechanical system and reduced losses in the optical channel.
