FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, particularly protection of crops. The herbicidal mixture contains a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a chloroacetanilide compound selected from a group consisting of acetochlorine and metazachlor and (b) a picolinic acid compound selected from a mixture of clopyralid, picloram, aminopyralid or picloram and aminopyralid. The weed control method involves applying a herbicidally effective amount of said herbicidal mixture onto plants or loci thereof or into the soil to prevent germination of weeds.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides efficient control of broad-leaved weeds.
