FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiochemical technology and may be used for dissolution of natural uranium chemical concentrates, irradiated or recovered fuel to obtain solutions of uranyl nitrate intended for extraction parting in production of nuclear-clean materials suitable for production of uranium hexafluoride. Proposed device is composed of column apparatus with cover consisting of three zones: cylindrical bottom zone and top zone of larger diameter and mid zone shaped to truncated cone connected with said top and bottom zones. Bottom zone comprises uranium concentrate inlet union located above leaching solution feed pipe and insoluble residue pulp discharge pipe, while top zone has uranium solution discharge union. Top zone accommodates hollow cylindrical dashpot with diameter exceeding bottom zone diameter. Dashpot top part is connected with device cover and has gas phase blow-off union while bottom zone forms the clearance with the device mid zone walls. Uranium concentrate and leaching solution feed pipes are arranged tangentially. Bottom zone is furnished with heating jacket.
EFFECT: higher degree of uranium leaching and uranium solution clarification, decreased amount of uranium concentrate dissolution products.
