FIELD: hydrometallurgical processing of uranium-containing raw materials. SUBSTANCE: method consists in crushing and wet grinding of uranium ore for obtaining dense pulps. Then, leaching and sorption of uranium by ionite are performed and saturated ionite is removed from pulp. It is washed with water, uranium is desorbed, desorbed ionite is washed off to remove excessive acidity and desorbed ionite is introduced for sorption of uranium. Then, gravitational classification of saturated sorbent which was washed in water or regenerated is performed simultaneously with inter-operational transportation of ionite due to its motion over inclined section of transportation line and entrapping sand-and-ionite mixture enriched by ore particles from lower zone of moving flow followed by jigging of sands and removing them from hydrometallurgical process. EFFECT: increased productivity of sorption process; reduced specific consumption of ion- exchange material and increased extraction of uranium from ore raw material. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
