FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to treatment of solid household wastes and may be used at refuse processing plants etc. Proposed screen comprises box, vibroexciters and working surface composed of several horizontal tiers. Every ties is made up of transverse bearing beam and parallel wedge-like fire plates attached thereto by their one end, their opposite end being free. Fire-bar plate of every tier form screening clearance between them. Physical parameters of plates are selected to ensure plate free oscillation frequency complying with the condition 1.05 ffor<ff<1.20 ffor, where ff is frequency of said free oscillations, ffor is frequency of forced oscillations of the plates.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of screening and effect of screening surface self-cleaning.
