FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of concentrating α-tocopherol from plant oil, involving extraction of the non-saponified part from plant oil, preparing its ethanol solution with concentration of the non-saponified part of 5.2-5.6 g/l, sorption of α-tocopherol on acid-activated natural clinoptilolite tuff from the non-saponified part, with the ratio of the sorbent to the ethyl solution of the non-saponified part of 1:1, for 8 hours at temperature of 23°C while stirring constantly, separating the sorbent by filtering, extracting α-tocopherol from the sorbent with 96% ethanol which is heated to 50°C, with the ratio of sorbent to ethyl alcohol equal to 5:1.
EFFECT: using a simple method, the invention enables to extract α-tocopherol using substances which are recommended for use in food and medicinal agents.
