FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of energy generation, in which an oxygen-containing oxidant is supplied into a power plant, as well as hydrogen-containing gaseous fuel, at least some products of fuel oxidation exiting the power plant are sent into a heat receiver, in which products heat a converter serially, in which due to heating gaseous fuel is produced from a mixture of initial fuel with water steam, and then the first section of the adsorber is heated, in which the flow of fuel is moistened with water steam exiting the sorbent, afterwards the products are sent to the inlet into the second section of the adsorber, in which the flow of products is cooled with extraction of water steam from it into the sorbent. The entry of fuel into the first and second sections of the adsorber is periodically switched from the heating mode to the cooling mode.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce fuel consumption, to improve performance of power plants and systems of power supply.
