FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in this method of energy accumulation, in which compressed air and gaseous fuel are supplied into a power plant from a gas storage, and products of gaseous fuel combustion are used in periods of increased load of a power grid for a gas turbine drive of a motor-generator, which in the periods of power grid off-peak load is used for compression of air and its injection into the gas storage, at least some air bled from the gas storage is used for steam and air conversion of natural gas in an adiabatic reactor of conversion, products of which are supplied in the periods of higher load of the power grid for combustion in the flow of compressed air with production of combustion products supplied for expansion into the gas turbine drive of the motor-generator, and then for cooling in the water steam generator, from which the generated water steam is sent for mixing with compressed air before steam and air conversion of natural gas. In the periods of power grid off-peak load prior to supply of compressed air into the gas storage it is cooled by heating of heating water.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increased reliability of energy accumulation.
