FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: main fuel is supplied into a combustion chamber. Secondary fuel is also supplied into a fuel element. At least some products coming out from a fuel element are sent into the combustion chamber of the heat engine. The flow coming out of the heat engine is cooled by heating of the main or secondary fuel or oxidant with extraction of water steam. Steam is sent in a mixture with the secondary fuel into the fuel element.

EFFECT: method will make it possible to increase dynamic and manoeuvre capabilities of power generation, to reduce fuel consumption, to increase reliability of fuel element operation, to improve performance of power plants and power supply systems.
