FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: gas pumping unit has a protective housing separated with seals into compartments, in which there separately placed is an electric motor and a compressor, which are connected through a drive to one shaft that is supported from magnetic bearings. In addition, the above unit is equipped with compressors in the quantity of not less than two, which have a shaft that is common for the electric motor; a frequency converter and an electric motor control system. Magnetic bearings are equipped with load-bearing elements and a control system of magnetic bearings, and protective housing is divided into at least three compartments. The electric motor control system and magnetic bearing control system are located in the first compartment, frequency converter and force-bearing elements of magnetic bearings are located in the second compartment and electric motor is located in the third compartment. Compressors are located in the next compartments; at that, compartments of compressors are isolated from each other by means of seals. Protective housing is oriented horizontally. Two radial bearings and one axial magnetic bearing is installed on the shaft. Load-bearing elements are made on completely controlled semiconductor IGBT switches assembled as per a bridge circuit. Magnetic bearing control system is made as per a differential position control scheme of the unit shaft in all directions. Seals are made in the form of a sealing pair, one of the parts of which is of rotating type and fixed on the shaft, and the other one is stationary and fixed on the protective housing; at that, dynamic slots are applied onto the working surface of the rotating part.
EFFECT: improving operating reliability of the gas pumping unit in submerged condition of the unit for several submerged main gas lines at operation of one electric drive.
