FIELD: gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gas industry, more specifically, to gas pumping sets of compressor stations. Proposed is a method for operation of a combined gas pumping set of the compressor station of a mains gas line with gas turbine and electric drives of the gas compressor. The gas turbine drive consists of an air compressor, a combustion chamber, gas turbines (compressor and power), and an automatic centrifugal disconnecting clutch. The electric drive consists of an asynchronous electric engine and an electronic frequency converter. The power gas turbine and the gas compressor are made high-speed, and the rotors thereof are installed on magnetic bearings. Gas in the gas compressor is compressed alternately using the gas turbine and electric drives, depending on the gas consumption in the gas line. During daytime operation of the compressor station and at nominal gas consumption in the gas line, the gas turbine drive is used, the shaft of the power gas turbine is connected with the gas compressor shaft via a closed centrifugal disconnecting clutch and the shaft of the asynchronous electric engine. At a significant reduction in the gas consumption in the gas line at night and in areas with two-part electricity tariffs, the electric drive is used. The asynchronous electric engine is connected to an external electrical network via the electronic frequency converter, electric switches, and a transformer; the centrifugal disconnecting clutch is disconnected, and the gas turbine unit is stopped; the current frequency, the rotation speed of the asynchronous electric engine and the gas compressor are reduced by the electronic frequency converter, and the power thereof is lowered.

EFFECT: ensured operation of a combined gas pumping set of the compressor station of a mains gas line.
