FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: identification mark has a signal information element carrier, signal information elements and a layer of adhesive material with phosphor additives, the signal information element carrier lying on both sides of the layer of adhesive material, and signal information elements being made by partial breakdown of the carrier material. The method of making the identification mark involves selecting a signal information element carrier, preparing adhesive material by adding additives which include phosphors, making signal information elements on the carrier, connecting the layer of the prepared adhesive material to the signal information element carrier, hardening the layer of adhesive material and cutting the carrier to obtain separate identification marks. The signal information element carrier used is material which is characterised by partial breakdown under the effect of laser radiation; the layer of the prepared adhesive material is connected on two sides with signal information element carriers; signal information elements are made by laser breakdown of the carrier material simultaneously on two sides of the layer of adhesive material, and said cutting is carried out with laser radiation.
EFFECT: obtaining double-sided marks of high quality, which are resistant to mechanical action and are readable when placed at any point on an article.
