FIELD: radio engineering, communications.
SUBSTANCE: extreme logarithmic-periodic structures 1, 2 are arranged at the angle α=45°, and at the distance I=0.15λmax from vibrators of largest length of extreme logarithmic-periodic structures 1, 2 there is a screen 5 of a dielectric material with ε=6 in the form of square with side size λmax × λmax perforated with twenty holes of the diameter 0.07"Я"max' arranged symmetrically to the axis of the square, where λmax - maximum length of operating range wave. The proposed technical solution makes it possible when using a log-periodic antenna as a superbroadband radiator of axisymmetric mirror antennas to ensure their efficient radiation and therefore increase energy potential of the receiving system.
EFFECT: increased identity of directivity pattern width in orthogonal planes and reduced level of side radiation.
