SYSTEM OF WIRELESS LOCAL COMPUTER NETWORK WITH MULTIPLE INPUTS AND MULTIPLE OUTPUTS Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC H04L1/00

Abstract RU 2485698 C2

FIELD: radio engineering, communications.

SUBSTANCE: wireless system applies multiplexing with orthogonal frequency division (OFDM) and duplexing with time division (TDD). The system uses a channel structure with several configurable transport channels, supports many speeds of transfer and modes of transfer, which may be configured on the basis of channel conditions and capabilities of user terminals, applies pilot structures with several types of a pilot-signal for different functions, realises circuits of transfer speed, synchronisation and capacity control for proper operation of the system, and uses random access for access to the system by user terminals, quick confirmation and quick assignment of resources. Calibration may be carried out to take into account differences in frequency responses of transfer/reception circuits in a point of access and user terminals. Spatial processing may then be simplified by using preferences of reversible nature in uplinks and downlinks and calibration.

EFFECT: invention provides for multiple speeds of transfer and modes of transfer.
