FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to farm industry, in particular, to a liquid biologically active fodder additive for animals and birds. The fodder additive contains an active substance in the form of water-soluble salts of triterpenic acids and is produced by way of extraction with a water solution of sodium hydroxide of milled green fir wood and the liquid phase filtering out from the solid one upon completion of the extraction process.
EFFECT: fodder additive feeding has stimulatory effect onto the whole organism as well as allows to increase animals and birds productiveness and enhance their resistance to various diseases.
