FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental maxillofacial surgery and is intended for lower jaw osteoplasty. Soft tissues are dissected in right submandibular region. Lower jaw body is skeletalised. After application of external compression-distraction apparatus (CDA) osteotomy of lower jaw body is performed. Bone fragments are moved apart. Bone homotransplant is placed into formed diastasis. Compression between it and the end of lower jaw stump is created. After 7-10 days distraction at rate 1 mm per day is started. Homotransplant is transferred by means of compression-distraction apparatus towards defect. Transference is continued until transferred homotransplant reaches the end of the other lower jaw stump.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to avoid sawing off part of bone from stump and removal of teeth in the process of reconstruction of lost part of lower jaw due to application of homotransplant transferred by means of CDA.
