SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be applied in prosthetics of eye ball stump. Essence of method lies in preparation of orbital bed, implantation of eye ball stump prosthesis, made of titanium nickelide, into prepared orbital bed, covering orbital bed for the period of prosthesis growing in. Implantation of eye ball stump prosthesis is carried out by submerging titanium-nickelide thread into prepared orbital bed. 30-100 mcm thick thread, fulled into ball-like volume with transverse dimensions in accordance with orbital bed anthropometry.

EFFECT: application of the claimed invention makes it possible to install prosthesis in casual and non-traumatic way, increase justifiability of operation, considerably reduce preparatory and intraoperation labour consumption.
