FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening rocks and construction materials, crushing and sorting jobs, and screen sizing of construction materials. Conical screen comprises drum, drive, loader and unloader. Screening surface is composed of six and more trapezoidal perforated strips with length increasing over that of screening surface. Said strips are coiled in vertical plane across their lengthwise axis and flexed along helical lines at conical mandrel in transverse direction. They are flexed along incision lines made by honing or forming. Besides, they are located on perforated strips at 60 degrees to each other on both sides of perforated strips to make, along screening surface perimetre, helical lines and perforated helical surfaces with variable spacing.
