FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening rocks and construction materials, crushing and sorting jobs, and screen sizing of construction materials. Proposed screen comprises trough closed on all sides with helical hollow drums arranged in tiers, one above the other, vibroexciters and elastic elements, loose material loaders and unloaders. Every helical screening surface is composed of multistart helical perforated surface with screw lines and screw grooves at 5 to 30 degrees to screening surface rotational axis in the form of curvilinear pockets at pocket curvature centers located inside cross-section of screening surface. Said screening surface is composed of one equal width perforated strip coiled and bent in flexure lines located at angle to strip lengthwise edges to make screw lines and surfaces in the form of curvilinear pockets that differ in shape and size. Note here that distance between flexure lines equal the sum of inner perforated surface pocket perimeters.
EFFECT: expanded performances and higher efficiency.
