FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to plugging material used in cementing oil and gas wells, and a method for production thereof. The plugging material, which contains a slag component, a fibre component and an additive, further contains a silica-containing component which contains at least 96% SiO2; the slag component is self-slaking slag which contains up to 85 wt % gamma-C2S; the additive is a structure-forming agent, a hardening controller and an expansion substance, in the following ratio, wt %: self-slaking slag 40-60, silica-containing component - 40-60, fibre component - 0.2-0.3 in excess of 100%, structure-forming agent - 0.1-5.0 in excess of 100%, hardening controller - 0.04-0.1 in excess of 100%, expansion substance - 0.1-10.0 in excess of 100%. The method of producing said plugging material involves subjecting the self-slaking slag, the silica-containing component and the expansion substance to combined disintegration treatment, and then feeding the fibre component, the structure-forming agent and hardening controller in an air stream. EFFECT: high heat-resistance of the hardened cement paste with improved strength properties at temperature of 150-250°C.
