FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a new serine protease comprising an amino acid sequence which is at least 90% identical to the sequence of wild type 1AG3 Streptomyces protease. This invention also relates to nucleic acid sequences encoding the protease, as well as to host cells, detergent compositions, and animal feed comprising the proposed serine protease.
EFFECT: invention enables to expand the range of enzymes, namely serine proteases having high enzymatic activity.
