FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: roller is described, namely for treatments of materials in the form of a blade, with a hollow cylindrical body of the roller. The roller body has in an internal wall a groove in the form of a slot for installation of heating elements; at that, heating element is in heat-conductive contact with the roller body. Heating elements are electrical heating appliances. Roller includes heating zones located in axial direction; at that, for each heating zone there provided is at least one heating element and outputs of adjacent heating elements are offset through 180°. Invention also refers to the embossing device containing such a roller.
EFFECT: solving the task of creating a heated roller with improved temperature regulation.
