FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: radar-absorbent nickel-zinc ferrite is obtained by synthesis of ferrite powder from nickel, zinc and iron oxides; wherein after grinding the synthesised mixture, before granulation thereof, coarse particles of a nickel-zinc ferrite of the same composition with size of 100-300 mcm, is added to the mixture along with binder in amount of 0.5-2.5 wt %. Coarse ceramic particles can be prepared, for example, by grinding sintered articles which are spoiled in terms of shape.
EFFECT: improved radar-absorbent properties of the ferrite in a frequency range from 30 MHz to 1000 MHz.
