FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for control of reciprocable double-coiled electromagnetic motor involves delivery of supply voltage half-waves with one polarity to working-stroke coil and supply voltage half-waves with the other polarity to idle-stroke coil. At that the first half-wave of supply voltage is delivered to working-stroke coil, the second and fourth half-wave of supply voltage with a pause in-between is delivered to idle-stroke coil, the fifth half-wave of supply voltage is delivered to working-stroke coil and after a pause during odd number of supply voltage half-waves the above sequence of pulses to coils is repeated. Thus, for the working cycle period the striker receives kinetic energy of four supply voltage pulses: twice kinetic energy of the striker increases due to electromagnetic energy of the working-stroke coil and twice due to electromagnetic energy of the idle-stroke coil.
EFFECT: increase of energy for a single beat of the striker.
