FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: processes of survey control and navigation include: detection of the path S while still and in motion, rectangular coordinates X, Y of a mobile object, a grid bearing of direction of its longitudinal axis α; transfer of values of measurable parameters into a computer, their processing, display on a geographical map of the path and location of the mobile object, provision of tactical characteristics: time for preparation of the system of survey control and navigation for operation for not more than 15 min., primary orientation of the mobile object with the help of on-board and external facilities within its design (optical sight, surveying compass), manual input of initial coordinate values and initial reference direction into the computer, performance of technical characteristics: detection of point coordinates with mean square error of not more than 22 m in distances of up to 4 km and not more than 0.6% of the travelled path in distances of more than 4 km, detection of grid bearings of the direction with the simple average error - 0-05 (18 ang. min.) for every 15 minutes of motion.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities.
